Amanda was only seven years old when her gifts began to appear unnoticed. Born and raised in Oklahoma, she grew up around gospel and country music, but she always had a unique, soulful voice. She began performing when she was nine, and before reaching 16, had performed in over 600 shows in and around the southwest. Many of the shows ranged from gospel, country, patriotic, and 50’s, 60’s to 70’s music. She made her first appearance at the Oklahoma Opry at the age of 10. After being voted three consecutive years as Female Vocalist of the Year under 16, she was the youngest ever at age 14 to be inducted into the Opry Hall of Fame. She has had the pleasure of performing as the featured entertainer across the country.
Her talents were quickly exposed as she was voted North Texas’ “Eagle Idol†in her freshman year of college at the University. Shortly thereafter, one of Dallas Fort Worth’s most respected and leading party bands “Think Big! & the Bulletproof Brass†hired her as their lead Female Vocalist. She, as a lead singer of the band, performs a wide selection of R&B, Jazz, and dance music all around the southwest. She continues her vocal coaching with Tom McKinney, One True Voice Studios, Texas. "Thanks Tom! I don't know what I would do without your help! You're an incredible coach and friend!" -Amanda
Amanda is truly a performer and her passion is evident on stage and in person. She continues to fullfill her dream for impacting lives with her gifts!
