A living R & B legend . Moe Holmes, a former alto and tenor voice of the Holmes Brothers , Moe sits with his acclaimed guitarist and whole heartedly bellows the blues and R & B classics. When Moe Holmes was young he toured the world with his band The Voices of East Harlem. In the 1960's they played with Ike and Tina Turner, Jimi Hendrix and Santana .
Moe's mid-song story telling gestures which make up the more comic portion of the evening are not unlike those of Gil Scott Heron . Mixed with super 60's and 70's classics, Moe's warm personality and unmatched vocals make for a touching evening.
In our eyes he is "The Best voice in New York."
