The spiritual journey is the most important priority in my life. Ital food, fruit, herbs and air nourish me, along with a burning need to serve and help heal the world. I was once in a group called Gumbo, a hip-hop melting pot of conscious music and dance. We were signed to Chrysalis/EMI through Vagabond/Speech (of Arrested Development) Productions. Music has blessed me with the opportunity to share the stage with or open for artists as diverse as Donald Byrd, Ziggy Marley, Tupac, The Gap Band, Keith Sweat, The Ohio Players, Doug E. Fresh & KRS One, among others. Now I’m a solo artist in a cocoon of my own design, experiencing a divine metamorphosis....ready to unleash the black butterfly in me....
