About Me

Born in Harlem New York, raised in a uniquely blended environment in Jamaica Queens, Leland Sharps Life began while many great Icons were emering into the height of their brilliance. It took one painting to be the catalyst for this young man to discover that he had been blessed with an amazing artistic talent a velvet abstract portrait of Malcolm X, which adorned his living room. The intensity of this portrait spoke to the heart of this tender five year old, as he was moved to replicate its likeness. His Art portrays the depth of each Icon, expressed through beautiful acrylic translucent and non translucent luminous colors. Leland allows all who come in contact with his free spirit to feel the true nature of his ability to relay emotion through his expressive Art. Mentored by such greats as, Roy Ayers, Big band leader Illinois Jacquet, and his God Father, Legendary vocalist Brook Benton. Lelands varied parallel endowments have enriched the world over time through various forms of Screen Play Writing, Music Production, Photography, Hair Styling, Interior Decorating, and Special Event Coordination. Over the past years Lelands creative genius has been commissioned by various celebrity clientele such as: Eddie Murphy, Franklyn Ajaye, Mos Def, Wesley Snipes, Chris Tucker, Heavy Weight Champ Lamon Brewster. He continues to be blessed with the opportunities to work with these as well as others as his list continues to expand. When this Renaissance Man decides to try something new, he masters the craft and in the next breath has evolved into an aficionado, effortlessly placing his own unique style upon it. True to his roots, he has chosen artist management and development for his philanthropic vein. This is the vehicle that he uses to teach blossoming artists how to forgo the hard knocks one can experience in the entertainment industry. Sharing wisdom as only Leland does, he insist that all who are graced with his charming wit and charismatic smile Tell the Truth!

I would never truely be able to express my love for the many forms of music that's responsible for moldng and keeping me a hold person. All music. Music brings happiness & healing with it's energy, and I love the feeling, the vibes, the energy, and soul of music. I'm so connected to the great love songs from back in the day.

Great Epics Like: God Father, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord Of the Rings, Old Bruce Lee movies, I Love those Roman Epics like: Troy, Gladiator, Alexzander, Ben Hur, etc. Love Stories are cool like: Pretty Woman, The Note Book, Meaningful Movies like: Malcom X, Color Purple, Glory, it's really to much for me to manage in this little note, but you get.

I love books on self developement, Astrology, Para psychology, and Meta physical books. For those of you reading this that really want to put your minds to good use and your spirits toward the truth. I've got a few titles I've read that will get you on your way, not necessarily in this order. THE NAG HAMMADI LIBRARY, ASK AND IT IS GIVEN, LIVING WITH JOY, 48 LAWS OF POWER, THE FOUR AGREEMENTS, THE POWER OF ONE, SEAT OF THE SOUL, RIGHT USE USE OF WILL, THE POWER OF INTENTION, this is a strong motivator if your slackin.
