About Me
Bio: Since youth, SheShe has been a creative force, participating in theatre, trumpet, piano, poetry, gymnastics, and ballet. In highschool, SheShe discovered Underground Hip Hop artists such as De La Soul, Tribe, and Freestyle Fellowship and was immediatley immersed in the education of hip hop. In college, SheShe began to write, freestyle, and cipher with other hip hop heads skeptical of any female lyrical talent. SheShe also began runnin with the Oakland Breakers, learning the B-boy and B-girl craft, throwing streetshows, and no matter how bruised, sore, and beaten up, hittin up local practices everyday. In June 2005, SheShe joined Girl Group "Breathe" who was soon signed to an independant record deal and opened-up for such artists as Kelis, Sean Paul, Too Short, Tyrese, Warren G, & Christina Milian. However due to turmoil in the group and ineffective management, the Group lasted two years before its disollution. SheShe then went on to form a writing team by the name of "Ace 2.0", with former band mate Kyndra Danielle, with whom SheShe catalogued over 60 songs. After two years as a writer of Pop and R&B, SheShe, who has never stopped rapping, is back in the hip hop game and refuses to take a back seat to anybody. "It is not just the time for Hip Hop, but it's the time for a real female to take the reigns and fill the empty void that's been left by Eeve, Missy, Foxy, Lil Kim, and especially Left eye. Lil' Mama sure didn't do it. Hopefully that female will be me."
