About Me

ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM NO LONGER ACCEPTING ADD REQUESTS FROM BANDS WHO ARE NOT SEEKING TO NETWORK OR PERFORM TOGETHER, OR IF WE ARE NOT ASSOCIATED IN PERSON. I am sick of the fifty add requests a day I get from bands who want to do nothing more than spam their show posters and invites on my page. I and my band generally do not engage in these sorts of activities, and I'm sick of everyone thinking they're too good to actually use Myspace for what it was meant -networking. If you are simply adding me to get another tally in your friends list and another target for your advertisements, go someplace else. If you send me an add req and you are a band, you had better follow up with some networking or be blocked. I will also be going through my old contacts here and cleaning house shortly as far as the bands on this page go. I'm simply too busy to keep up with a bunch of bands that I will never meet or work with, so it's time to start phasing out the bullshit.
First off, SPAM WHORES
and BULLETIN-HAPPY FREAKS can ignore this page. I don't accept pages as friends which I feel are suspect to being nothing more than a dumb broad thinking I want to pay to see her tease me. Sorry, I got class, character, and no reason to pay :)
In closing, I'm not in the habit of accepting friends requests from minors. On the other hand, this is a page by which I advertise Zadoc... and the Nightmare or other projects I am currently involved with and I may make exceptions for fans if you send a message. Be warned however that I do also check sites out before approving them. Sorry, not trying to be a prick, but I'm not taking chances.
Lastly, if you have received a friends request from me, rest assured I am not in the habit of trying ot rack up the 'friends' counts on here. If I've sent you an invitation it's because I thought you or your site was cool or I am a fan of your band, publication, or product... Pretty simple, really.

JACK-AZ
In support of our upcoming show May 12 at the Haunt with Divinity Destroyed, Zadoc... and the Nightmare appeared on WVBR's radio show Last Exit For The Lost... The event became a parade of mindless self-indulgent violence and all out fun for almost everyone. Check out the Last Exit Recap below...

Zadoc... and the Nightmare - Another Way (Filmed in 2005)
I've also worked in another field doing additional special effects for the low budget thriller The Vicious Sweet, directed by Ron Bonk. Keen-eyed observers might even seen my small onscreen role as a zombie (I know, big suprise there, right?). This project was one of those 'right time, right place' things and I was honored to fill in and add my own touch alongside the work of the well-known Pinkerton FX house.

That film is available on DVD and you can read more about it on IMDB.com or check out the company here on myspace at SRS Cinema or you can read the great Joe Bob Brigg's review from JoeBobBriggs.com (Joe Bobb says "Check it out!").
Photographs on this site have been taken by (in no particular order): BentWire Studios Photography, Courtney Angell, Denise Allen, Tracy B., The Audacity, Wayne W. Johnson, KillerQueen, Jennifer Clark, Myself, and others whom I can't remember right now... I'll have to update this later...
You Are Here. Glad I could help with that. If You're lost, might I recommend asking for directions rather than looking at my profile?

My Interests

I have all sorts of hobbies and interests... probably more than I should. The horror genre is the biggest thing of interest in my life which isn't related to music... many of my other hobbies stem from that. I'm interested in horror in literature, film, radio, and memorabilia; this has also led me to a years of researching elements of the occult and paranormal -everything from the yeti to UFOs and from Dr. Dee to Crowley...
Currently, I'm involved in the writing of an encyclopedic history of the horror genre, in addition to a screenplay for a horror film.

I'd like to meet:

Nikki Sixx & Motley Crue, George A. Romero, Tom Savini, Ellen Sandweiss, Lemmy Kilmeister, Silvia Saint, Kane Hodder, Clive Barker, Johnny Depp, R. Lee Ermey, Larry Flynt, Ed Norton, Gary Oldman, H. R. Giger, Julie Andrews, Gerald Brom, Bam Margera, The Wild Boyz, Jason Newstead, Gary Tunnicliffe, Greg Nicotero, Sam Raimi, Katie Couric, William "God, Jr." Shatner, Screaming Mad George, Adam West, and anyone who enjoys our music.

Music:

I listen to a lot of stuff and am not the least bit embarassed by any of it, so if you wanna give me shit over something, don't bother. It don't matter. Lately I've been listening to (in no particular order)...:
Zadoc... and the Nightmare (ahhhh, ego.)
The 69 Eyes
Divinity Destroyed
Cliff Burton Bass Solos
Mötley Crüe
Dimmu Borgir
Mudvayne
The Misfits

Movies:

George A. Romero films are always high on my list... Night of the Living Dead, Day of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead, and Knightriders. Others favorites include Shaun of the Dead, Spider-Baby, The Friday the 13th Series (Kane Hodder fucking rules), Duel, The Pirates of the Caribbean series (saavy?), The Devil's Rejects, The Last Man on Earth, Nosferatu (1922) and Freaks. Non-horror films aren't too high on my list. Bam Margera's Haggard has gotta be the funniest fucking film I have ever seen.
Oh, and of course, there's....

Television:

Not much of a TV person, so what I usually watch reflects the other interests, such as Masters of Horror, Tales From The Crypt, and whatever movie made from a Stephen King story happens to be on this month...

Books:

Heroes:

Nikki Sixx. Cliff Burton. Rozz Williams. Dick Marcinko (If you don't know who he is, that's your problem). George A. Romero. Tom Savini. Nathan Zadoc Angell, who I consider a brother. Clive Barker. H. P. Lovecraft. J. Krishnamurti.
