First and foremost, I'm a real fan of hiphop music and hiphop culture. Despite my age, I've been listening to hiphop for as long as I can remember. Got real excited hearin those joints from back in the day, by the likes of Nas, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Gangstarr, and the list goes on. Tried MCing for a little while...I enjoy writing from time to time, but I'm more focused on production. After being dazzled by the production on albums like Only Built for Cuban Linx, Midnight Mauraders, Illmatic, etc, I became very disappointed and annoyed with the likes of all the soft, clubbish production that invades airwaves. So, possessing a "whatever you can do, I can do better" attitude, I began producing about 5 or so years ago. Which brings me to the present. Producing beats is a hobby for me..if I never received a single dollar for my work, I'd still be producing, and striving to get better. Big shoutout to any and every producer out there who makes real music from the heart and not just from the wallet. Shoutouts to any and every producer who reps that real hiphop..and shoutouts to any and everybody out there who has listened to my beats, given me compliments, told me they were wack, never gave me a chance, had faith in me, inspire me, set me back..in the end its all appreciated.
