Spent my youth in greater MD! Rockville, B-More, Adelphi. Moved to Miami at the age of 6 years old and has been here since. Life had its ups and downs like any other family growing up in the hood, but that was the inspiration needed to increase the potential as I reflect on it daily. Pops was strict, moms had her hustle, fridge was barely full, could not afford the “latest and greatestâ€.With time, seasons change and so does a person. My mom would always tell me that I was into hip hop music in my baby years being a big LL Cool J fan knowing all the lyrics to the videos that came on but I don’t remember any of this. But enough with the violin story. Who is Trakz? Where did you get this name? What influenced you?An artist is plauged when relationships and business gets mixed, and trust me from my point of view it is true. I was a lab rat everyday banging on some type of drum machine or sampler not caring for anyone or thing around my circumfrence. I was addicted to music and those around me knew it so they called me ‘Trakz†and yes with the kz at the end.Killah became branded after the point of hearing about my verses and how my voice glued to tracks. I started off young, 9 years old to be exact and just blossomed to where I am now.
