Patrick's new album "Big Bad World" is now available on iTunes.
Patrick Goble began playing drums, piano, and guitar when he was ten years old. He soon began writing his own music and performing his original compositions for his classmates. Patrick composed over 100 songs by the time he was seventeen; the songs featured here are some of these earliest works.
Patrick released his first album in 2003, and in 2004 he wrote and published an instructional booklet, Shredding 101. He was awarded the 2004 Musicianship Award from the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT) of Hollywood, California, one of the best known and respected schools of contemporary music in the U.S.
Patrick plays eleven instruments, including the banjo, bass, didgeridoo, drums, flute, guitar, organ, ukulele, and violin. He has written and recorded a total of over two hundred songs ranging in style from World, Electronica, Hip-Hop, to Neoclassical Metal. Some of Patrick’s recent works can be heard on his primary page The Music of Patrick Goble .
While Patrick’s guitar playing has been inspired by the works of Jason Becker, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Frank Gambale, his songs have been influenced by myriad artists from different cultures, media, and eras. He continues to write and record songs at a phenomenal rate and he invites you to visit often. (To hear some of Patrick's eclectic alternative music, visit his doppelganger Pretty Please .) Patrick appreciates your comments and is always glad to hear from you.
