About Me

About ElectroMungo:
ElectroMungo performs electronic music with digital and analog equipments. His main interest and love is the Theremin playing but nevertheless, also with other equipment he always tries to find the ultimate spacey, wavey and ultra-strange melodic electronic sound. This goal never changed since he was a 15 years old admirer of cult pure Electronic bands in the early 80s . Started trying to play elctronic music with a Casio VL-Tone in "Neue deutsche Welle"-Times in the late 80s . A big inspiration was DaDaDa, a song of the german band Trio, which was scandalous simple melody, played on the Casio VL-Tone by Stefan Remmler.
The following phase was dominated by a lot of (private) sound experiments on tiny home computers like for example the famous British Sinclair ZX Spectrum and so on. Very very difficult to get comparable results to today...
--- CUT ---
After a longer pause, i restarted my research in experimental music using my Theremin, my Roland EP, my PC, "The Mungolator" my nasty little circuit bent VL-Tone beast, my circuit bent Korg DDD-1, my microKorg, my sense for symmetries, little background in music and musical theory, a solid background in physics and my passion for electrons and holes.
Collaborations
ElectroMungo meets RichardF

Richard Fuchs is a excellent german guitar performer with over 30 years of experience in both acoustic guitar and e-guitar music of all colours.

ElectroMungo in this project is responsible for synthesizers, Theremin, FX and the studio-technical mastering (production) of the music.
As a first result of this very fruitful project and cowork a brandnew album, "ElectroMungo meets RichardF" containing eight songs with over an hour total playtime was finished short time ago.
The album "ElectroMungo meets RichardF" is a mix of vintage hard rock sounds, psychedlic pieces and a lot of different ethnic styles and world music combined with electronic sound. Some songs are acoustic guitar dominated, some use interesting and vintage sounding hard and heavy e-guitar riffs and in all pieces the spacey vintage Theremin makes a strange and unique athmosphere. Future new projects of ElectroMungo together with Richard Fuchs will follow.
