"On Food and Cooking - The Science and Lore of the Kitchen"; I think it will change the way I cook forever. But besides that......I recently read Life of Pi, and i recommend it to everyone. i also just got a membership at the amazing library here and have borrowed several interesting books so far. some in dutch, a couple on photography, a novel by nick hornsby, a cookbook, and some amsterdam architecture. i'm a happy girl.
