Witing, writing, writing, and more writing. If I could afford to I'd write 24/7. I'd write my novel and lots of poems and still find time to do some journalism. Yeah, that would be ideal. Other than writing I love to paint. My main medium that I'm trying to learn right now is water colors. I think they are beautiful. I also love live music and go to concerts whenever I can. I also enjoy hanging out at the Old Town School of Folk Music where I take my djembe and African dance classes. I like learning about different cultures. I think it makes you a better person. Can't you tell I'm a D.I.Y. girl?

"And since you know you cannot see yourself,
so well as by reflection, I, your glass,
will modestly discover to yourself,
that of yourself which you yet know not of."
You are probably a passionate lover and often
tagged as a hopeless romantic... Though,
chances are, you're a not-so-hopeless romantic.
You're good with your comedy, but even better
with your drama. You're far ahead of your
time... and yet, still perfect for it. You're
extremely good at what you go and you've yet to
be matched. Keep up the good work.

The World's Shortest Personality Test
Billy Corgan...oh yeah I already did that! HA!Seriously though, I'd really like to meet Tori Amos, Ani DiFranco, Dido, L7, and Shirley Manson of Garbage...these are the women of rock that have helped me become who I am today.I'd also like to meet Trent Reznor, Mindless Self Indulgence, Marilyn Manson, Massive Attack, Morcheeba, KMFDM, Azoic, Dropkick Murphies, Bad Religion, NOFX, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake...plus many many more that I won't bore you with. As well as artist, Dan Burns because he wrote this that I'm now adopting as my personal statement:"In a world of never-ending change I seek the universal constant that exists in every moment. I am concerned with capturing the impression of a given moment; a perceived impression that occurs before it can be analyzed. I try to capture what characterizes that moment for me. My subject, the lighting, the sounds, my mood, my feelings, whatever's going on in my life, and my relation to the subject are all incorporated into my work. When I look, I see from the farthest edges of the periphery. I hear everything and focus on nothing. My aim is to perceive with the broadest focus possible. I can't tell you what these pictures are supposed to say. I lose myself in their making. I only hope that there is something in them, something of a fleeting moment, which you can connect with."CHECK IT OUT: http://www.burnsart.com..

I don't watch TV, all that much, but when I do I'll put on something educational like South Park or Adult Swim. All that "reality" bullshit, now that's the new opiate of the masses. Yup, that's where I stand on that one.
AHA! This will be a mega list! I think I should stick with Authors and name one or two books of theirs I really like. Jeanette Winterson: "Oranges Aren't the Only Fruit," and "Written On The Body." Virginia Woolf: "Mrs. Dalloway," and "Orlando." Irvine Welsh: "Trainspotting," and "Acid House." Chuck Palahniuk: "Fight Club," "Lullaby," and "Invisable Monsters." Joyce Carol Oates: "Man Crazy," and "The Tatooed Girl." "Prozac Nation" is just a much need to read book as is "Drown" by Junot Diaz, and "Hairstyles of the Damned" by Joe Mino. Oh yeah, and anything by David Sedaris.MY BOOK SELECTION FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL WEEKS:You just have to read "Dance, Dance, Dance" by Haruki Murakami and "Kafka On The Shore" by Haruki Murakami...both books are by the same author but the only things they have in common is the poetic prose and awesome characterizations that you can't help but enjoy. Check it out I give them two thumbs up since I really enjoy his writings. Oh and if you've never read Murakami I suggest first checking out "Norweigian Wood" which is his most popular and very beautifully written book.
uhhh...Wonder Woman! Yes, I was her every halloween for the past 3 years. And I would have to say Margaret Cho I just think she's hilarious in pushing people's buttons. Uma Thurman...every girl needs to fight, ya know. Oh yeah and Drew Berrymore! Everywhere I go people tell me I look like her. I was at Old Navy the other day and this girl comes running over to me and was like are you Drew Berrymore? I said no I'm Kate Paone, she got this disappointed look and said, "damn, you look alot like her" I said I get it all the time, and she was like oh well could you take a picture with me anyways? "Sure," I replied, and I got my picture taken with a total stranger just because she thought I looked like someone she admired. It was an interesting experience, especially since I don't really mind it at all.
