Hello. My name is Brian, but people call me "B.C." :) I used to be a one man show - writing, recording, producing, mixing, and mastering all of my own stuff in my home studio. Though I played all the instruments and sang everything on my album, B.C. is now a fully assembled band performing live. I'd like to welcome and thank fellow members Dan Prost (Drums), Eddie Meltzer (Guitars and Backing Vocals), and Brian Gabel (Guitars). These three incredible musicians have taken B.C. to a whole new level. We will be kicking ass in your area soon!
So... what makes our stuff different from all of the other "alternative" bands? I'm a bass guitar player by trade, so I'm always exploring new and interesting ways of expressing myself on this underrated instrument. Several of our songs, "Manic Tranquility", "Deceit", and "Chaos Before the Storm", feature three or even four simultaneous bass lines. Our arrangements are heavy and complex, but the most important element is always the melody.
The debut CD from B.C., a conceptual album titled Map of the Muddled Mind, is now available HERE !
