About Me

Well... don't quite know where to start. First and foremost, I'm a single guy who recently became 30 years of age. I enjoy spending quality time with family, as well as my close-knit group of friends. Without all of them, I would certainly be lost. Words couldn't possibly express how important they are and how blessed I am to have them in my life. I enjoy going out to the bars, hangin' with da buds doing whatever (usually being a goof), catching any (well, almost any) live music and just having a good time anywhere possible! Hell, if you can't enjoy life in any way, what the hell is the point!! Anyone who knows me can surely attest that I can't live a day without MUSIC in some shape or form... whether it be listening to, playing or writing. I have been playing the electric guitar for nearly 25 years and have been heavily devoted to the instrument since I can remember. Ever since my parents bought me my first plastic "KISS" guitar at the age of 5, I've been helplessly hooked. I am currently part of a band called B.C. that plays locally at bars/clubs, in either the city or the suburbs and occasionally out of state. The guys in the band are amazingly talented and have become great friends in the short amount of time I've known them (except for the newest member, Danimal, who has been a great friend to me for many years - WELCOME BRO!!). Thus far, that has been an absolute blast and things definitely seem to be heading in the right direction. As far as my occupation is concerned, I have been working for an electronic component distributor for the past 8 years as an inside salesperson. However, if I had it my way, I would be going on tours and playing/making music as much as freakin' possible. Other than that, I try my best to live life to the fullest and take things day by day.

My Interests

Need I re-iterate? MUSIC, MUSIC and more MUSIC! I try to spend time with a guitar in hand as much as time will allow. I'm a big football fan and enjoy most sports - participating or just watching. Da Bears!! Enough said. Like I mentioned above, I enjoy spending time with the people that are close to me as much as possible and doing whatever comes our way. I also enjoy meeting new people, traveling, fishing, camping, going to the drag races every year... just to name some. I defintely enjoy hot rods / most classic cars and I'm trying my best to learn as much as possible about them and how they work. Thank God for good friends with vast knowledge and experience in that arena!!

I'd like to meet:

(I guess I should probably change this now that I met THE MAN in May :D)If I had to mention one name, it would have to be Steve Vai most of all. I honestly have no idea what I'd say to "The Man," if I could even speak a word at all. There is just an endless list of musicians I would enjoy meeting, so I'm not going to bother mentioning any more at this point. I've been rather lucky in the recent past to meet quite a bit of the musicians I am inspired by, and I'm more than grateful for those experiences. On another note, I'm definitely searching for a soul-mate... that special someone who I can share my life with and hopefully receive the same in return. I don't know about any of you, however, I'm certainly sick of the childish, horse-shit drama that I've encountered in the past. I could only hope to find someone who feels the same way I do about games and how unnecessary they are. Life is too damn short people! My overall philosophy in life is to be kind and giving at all times and give everyone a chance, until they give me a reason not to be this way.

Music:

Here goes... If I went into greater detail, you would spend far too much time (than you're already going to spend) reading just this section: Meshuggah, Steve Vai, John Petrucci and Dream Theater, Joe Satriani, most instrumental artists (various instruments - not only guitar), Mnemic, Pantera - Damageplan (R.I.P. Dime - I still can't believe you're gone - you will be forever missed!!), Sepultura, Anthrax (Joey ONLY!), Aerosmith, Metallica (old, that is), Frank Gambale, Allan Holdsworth, Alice In Chains, Cannibal Corpse, Beastie Boys, Buckethead, Cynic, Cypress Hill, Darkane, Death, Deicide, Strapping Young Lad and ANYTHING that Devin Townsend has to do with, Dimmu Borgir, Faith No More, Fear Factory, Fight, Guns N' Roses, GWAR, Suicidal Tendencies & Infectious Grooves, ICP, Iron Maiden, Jimi Hendrix (R.I.P.), Judas Priest, Korn, Macabre, Machine Head, Megadeth, Mudvayne, N.W.A., Obituary, OZZY, Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, The Police, Primus - and anything that Les Claypool is involved in, Prong, Queensryche, Rammstein, White Zombie & Rob Zombie, Rush, Sevendust, Shubend, Skid Row, Slayer, Slipknot, Soilwork, Soulfly, Static-X, Steve Morse, Stevie Ray Vaughn (R.I.P.), S.O.D., S.O.A.D., Testament, Tool, Total Devastation, Van Halen (w/ David Lee Roth mostly!), Vital Information, Whitesnake (especially with Steve Vai!!), Yngwie Malmsteen, Zimmer's Hole and of course B.C. There is certainly more, but again, it would take forever. I think this is more than enough. Yeah, yeah... I know... YIKES!!

Movies:

Goodfellas, Donny Brasco, Casino, Analize This, Event Horizon, the Hellraisers, Spaceballs, majority of what Jim Carrey has done, Road Trip, The Star Wars library, Moving Violations, Commando, The Golden Child, The Indiana Jones Trilogy, The Nighmare on Elm Street library, Meet The Parents, Aliens, Out for Justice, The Terminator Trilogy, The Toy, anything that has Robin Williams, Rush Hour 1 & 2... Again, I could keep going. That should be sufficient.

Television:

I don't watch too much television shows these days. Primarily, I try to keep up with the show "House" and "24." I also like most of the Discovery channels and what they have to offer. I find that shit far more interesting than any of the so-called "Reality" shows that have overcome almost every channel. Of course, I try not to miss any football games during the season, especially Da Bears!!

Books:

I really don't enjoy reading novels or any of that type of shit. I usually find myself reading about the things that I enjoy, mostly. Refer to the interests above...

Heroes:

Mainly, the Lord, my family and friends and the majority of what was mentioned in the "Music" section.
