About Me

How can you describe yourself in this little box? Well, Rachel will try *stretches fingers*. Ah let's see here, I never know where to begin. I'll start with the present. I can rarely sit still, so I'm always out and about doing one thing or another. My spare time mainly consists of seeing live music, whether it be national (or international) acts, or local favorites. I've got a pretty kick ass career going on to support my music obsession where I am a Corporate Whore Monday through Friday, 8:30-5. Yep. I'm a lifelong musician, playing everything from the clarinet to the guitar. I haven't written anything in a while, just kinda kickin' back and bein' a fan for the time being for the most part. Recently I have gotten back into playin' the geetar. This is a huge and very good thing. I've figured out a thing or two while I've been on this earth so far. Listen to your mother, never have regrets and live life to the fullest, every day. A smile goes a LONG way. Life is friggin' hysterical, so LAUGH at it. Our time here is too short for hang ups, grudges, bullshit and people that make ya miserable...so don't participate! Above all, attitude is everything. I work to live, not the other way around. I get up, thank the powers that be that I'm alive and attack the day at full throttle! When I'm gone at the very least there will be lingering memorable (both favorable and unfavorable) stories to tell.

My Interests

*NOTE TO ALL OF MY "FRIENDS": Top 24 is in effect. My choices reflect bands that I will be seeing in the near future or bands that have recently found me and I adore. Ya got a problem with that? GET OVER IT! Some of you will pop up there every now and again. ;-) You know that I love you all.

I watch the Bachelor (and Bachelorette). Fuck you. I watch American Idol (Hey, they gave us Bo Bice. There is hope for this show. Death to the cookie cutter Pop Star!). Fuck you. I love to watch the Food Network, the Discovery Channel, select shows on VH1 and 80's movie reruns on TNT and USA. "METALOCALYPSE" is kicking my AZZZZ!

Books:

Dean Koontz...I love to have the crap scared out of me. I wish I had more time to read. Do metal magazines count? I'm not talking METAL EDGE here kids..."Pit", "Terrorizor", "BWBK", "Unrestrained", "Metalbite". Yaaaaa...good stuff.
