About Me

I guess I've been on here long enough, I should write something about myself here. Although, I think my page pretty much tells all about me. I am a single mom with a beautiful daughter that I love dearly and who makes my life very interesting! I love my job because I finally work for lawyers that I can like, and I work in an office full of wonderful women that all get along and aren't always back biting. I really hate obnoxious and stupid people! If you are stupid, please STAY AWAY! LOL I am a HUGE Yankees fan. Yes, I live in Houston. Yes, I'm still a Yankees fan, get over it! I'm also a big LOTR and Star Wars geek. I love science fiction, movies or books, especially the old SciFi, and even the B movie SciFi. Probably because I love to laugh! I love horror as well, especially if it surprises me, but I love that about most movies. The Saw series is excellent!
I also love anything to do with vampires. No, I'm not some crazy chick that wants to drink blood - although I might bite your neck a little ;-). Anne Rice has written the best books about vampires that I've ever read. The characters, especially Lestat, are very easy to fall in love with. I like the old and new Vampire Chronicles, as well as the break offs that also have to do with her witch stories. I really recommend anything that she has written on the subject.
I've just gotten into Metal since October of 2006, but I'm like a kid with a new toy and I'm LOVING it! Thanks to Well of Souls and Wells of Souls Chick for getting me started!! Love you guys! They've just about turned me into a "metal chick." LOL
That's pretty much it. Like it or not.
So, Keep it Doomy, Keep it Heavy and definitely KEEP IT METAL!

How much more coddling do kids need before they become completely useless?

I heard something on the radio this morning that really sent me over the edge in this whole non-dodgeball, non-jump rope, no red pens issue. Apparently, a teacher in a town near Dallas was fired...
