Stagecoach

Yo! I got a story i think you might know

About Me

Stagecoach's infectious pop melodies, coupled with traditional folk rock sounds, have been compared to Wilco and The Shins. The band have recently played at The Spitz, The Luminaire, Brixton Windmill, Water Rats, Cargo, and the ‘Lee Sounds Unsigned’ showcase event in London. Steve Lamacq has played Stagecoach on his National BBC show. They have also been played on London station XFM and tipped by Channel 4 as one to watch. In Feburary 07 'Giddy Up' appeared on the soundtrack to the BBC 2 drama 'Party Animals'.

Some bands we have enjoyed sharing a stage with include, Phoenix, The Wombats, Hush The Many, The Outside Royalty, Smoke Fairies, Immaculate Machine, The Court & The Spark
"A sumptuous slice of Wilco-esque alt.country."
"The earnestness and honesty of their songs overwhelms."
"A much-needed lateral breath of fresh air."
THE FLY
"Like travelling down a dusty country-esque highway"
"Sounds like The Charlatans when they dig out their Crosby, Stills and Nash records 9/13"
ROOM THIRTEEN
"Stagecoach is indie at its best, peppering each song with poppy melodies and catchy choruses "
MAISON MASCARA MUSIC
"Big swathes of giddy pop on a solid rocking alt.country template in the tradition of The Shins and Tweedy, J."
THE WINDMILL BRIXTON
