Just Like Pictures

About Me

"F**king Brilliant!!" - Wurzel, Motorhead
"Better than The Buzzcocks!" - Andy Snowley (quite drunk).
Just Like Pictures are leading the way with their own brand of 'indie electro-skiffle': guitar based, cowbell infused, synthy, sing-a-long indie-rock songs that require you to wear your dancing shoes. London based via Wolverhampton & Londrina, Just Like Pictures have been gigging in and around London since 2007 and have been branded as 'experimental angular indie funk' (Spice of Life/Bull & Gate), 'spikey indie pop gems' (ents24.com) and 'perky and punky with plenty of bollocks' (Hope & Anchor). Come along and decide for yourself...
Our EP Inside These Pockets is complete! Listen to all five tracks right here, right now. Download them too and pop them on your ipods, (at least in theory download, but how the hell you actually do this since the myspace media player changed is a good question, we are stumped...drop us a line and we'll email you the tracks.) Let us know what you think. If you'd like the complete EP package on a real CD with or without our publicity pack drop us a line and one will be sent to you right away.

Our next major gig (unless you are one of the lucky few that can catch us at a birthday special gig in Wolverhampton) is at the O2 Academy 2 in Islington. It is £5 in and the place will be filled to the brim with industry people so come and scream even louder for us.
Check out what BBC London radio had to say about us here...

Our music is recorded, mixed and produced by the wonderful Eduardo at TDT Bedroom Studios (see below...) Click here for more info. We have an ongoing schedule of recording so keep a close eye on our page for new additions.

Still in the studio

Our trip to the studio this week was a mixed bag; on the one hand the mix sounds great and we did some lovely little bits of tweaking, on the other, Lincoln put anchovies on a previously perfectly dec...
