Producing...
I am working as a freelance producer mainly in the genre of acoustic pop/folk/country. I don't belive in fixed settings - every project needs its own context and its own philosophy. Sometimes pop needs to be played live and sometimes folk needs a clicktrack. You can hear some of my work on this page...
Sound Engineering...
After three lovely years as the in-house engineer at Iguana Studio, Brixton, London, I decided to move back to my native Stockholm, Sweden where I'm making myself busy with my own studio.

Live Engineering...
Aside from my studio work, I am an experienced live engineer, having worked at venues such as Mondo, Rock Garden, Betsey Trotwood and The Sheepwalk in London and Stockholm.
Recent clients: Future Cinema, TV8 Sweden, EP's Trailer Park, Isolation Records, Ylva Ceder, Sona Soul, The Cedars, The Glass Band, Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo...
About the songs:
- Loving You by Sona Soul
From the album Afro Acoustic Soul
This song is off an album I recorded with Maya Sona Jobarteh (aka Sona Soul). It was an absoulte pleasure, Maya being one of the most gifted musicians I've ever worked with. Most of the sessions took place in London, but the last overdubs were done in Sweden during a hectic week in August 2007. Maya plays most of the instruments, we produced it together and I recorded it and mixed it.

- This Is How It's Meant To Be by Emily Barker
From 'Photos. Fires. Fables.' (2006)
This one was recorded last summer at Iguana Studio with Emily and her band The Red Clay Halo + Dave and Dave on harmonica and pedal steel respectively. This is the first track on the album and I wanted to give it a vibe that welcomed the listener the the world of Emily Barker from the very first bar. I really like this song.

- The Blood
Well, oh well, even a sound engineer might write a song if his heart his heart's been well and truly crushed... I kept the guide vocals, it was just one of those when you can't really come back to that mood you were in when you wrote and recorded the stuff... And looking back, I'm not sure I ever want to be in that mood again anyway. Massive thanks to Sandra Marteleur for playing the violin on this one!
- Don't Throw Your Love Away
A song I wrote recently for a certain cat that is quite dear to me... Unfortunately she had other commitments. I spent an evening in the studio just playing whatever instruments I had around me... Guitars, banjos, bass, piano and a small accordeon I'd bought in Japan. The brush on the snare drum is some kitchen tissue paper - stay lo-fi!
...more songs/artists coming soon.
Just finishing an EP with these guys... They're a great bunch and their songs rock, too! Still working on the new material, but keep an eye on them and listen to some of their old stuff at http://www.myspace.com/stagecoachuk.
...And the award for "Best music video... Ever!" goes to The Cure... Honestly. It's wicked.
...Or maybe it goes to Nick Cave. Just as good.
Some more Nick Cave... sorry guys, just can't stop myself:
Finally, for good measure, a song by the swedish singer Christian Kjellvander, recorded on his mobile when his car broke down on the way to the studio last summer...
