Erin Og - Boston’s Irish Rebel Band

Reel Troubled Keltiholic Folkin Craicheads!

About Me

Boston’s Irish rebel band “Érin Og” is following in the footsteps of the great Irish rebel legends such as the Wolfetones, Irish Brigade, Athenrye, Eire Og, Cruncher O’Neill, Shebeen, Charlie and the Bhoys, and Spirit of Freedom, to name just a few.
Their politically charged message of Irish freedom has roused Irish and Irish-American audiences alike all over the Boston area from Southie and Dorchester to Quincy and Marshfield.
Érin Og is composed of band members Bobby Mullis (formerly of the So. Boston based Irish Volunteers) from Medford, MA, Frankie Kelly (formerly of Ulster rebel band "Spirit of Freedom") from Letterkenny, Donegal, and Jim Brady of South Boston.
Drawing from years of experience playing Irish rebel music, the three members of Érin Og have united together to form a veritable tour-de-force of Irish rebel folk music in the Boston area.
Mixing mandolin, tin whistle, tenor banjo, driving acoustic guitar rhythms, and powerful vocal harmonies, Érin Og has shown their commitment to the great tradition of Irish rebel music by recently performing at such Irish Republican events such as the Bloody Sunday Commemoration at the Plough and Stars in Cambridge, and the Easter Rising and Hungerstrike Commemorations held in South Boston and sponsored by the Boston Irish Northern Aid (INA).
