Irish Northern Aid is an American based, 501(c)3 non-profit organization which supports by peaceful means a free and independent 32 county Ireland offering justice and equality for all its citizens in accordance with the Proclamation of the Irish Republic issued on Easter 1916. Irish Northern Aid will highlight the colonial and sectarian nature of partition and British misrule as the primary reason for present conflict. Irish Northern Aid supports Irish political prisoners and their dependants and also the surving family members of those killed as a result of political violence. Additionally, Irish Northern Aid provides financial support to registered charities who are engaged in supporting those who have been affected most by the British occupation of the 6 counties of Northeast Ireland. Currently INA supports these charities: Coiste na n-Iarchimi Coiste na n-Iarchimà is the umbrella organisation encompassing groups and individuals working for the social, economic and emotional well-being of current and former republican prisoners and their families. Coiste na n-Iarchimà coodinates the efforts of its members in an atmosphere of self-help, encouragement and mutual aid. An Fhirinne - The Truth Campaign Relatives group seeking an end to the state policy of collusion. Full disclosure by the British governement of its participation and actions in collusion cases. The dismantling of the structures and agencies which implemented the policy of collusion. Cumann Uaigheann na Laocradh Gaedheal - National Graves Association To restore, where necessary, and to maintain fittingly the graves of all those who died for Irish Freedom. To compile a record of all such graves. To foster veneration and respect for the Republicans' dead. To fundraise for plots/graves which are damaged/vandalised by pro-British elements To coodinate the activies of all the local commemorations committees who have responsibility for the building and maintenance of commemorateive plaques and gardens of remembrance.
