Living this dream one day at a time....

About Me

Melissa Bauer is taking over the Nashville music scene. Establishing herself as not over a great performer, but a solid songwriter, she has found herself at home in the music capitol of the world.Melissa grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, doing professional musical theater starting at the age of 4. She's performed in such world-class theaters as the Muny in St. Louis, and the Fox Theater. After doing this for the better part of two decades, though, Melissa changed gears and decided to relocate to Boston and attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music. At Berklee, Melissa fell in love with the live country music scene. She studied both business and songwriting, and began to use her experience on the stage combined with writing the stories of herself and the people she grew up with back in the Midwest. Now in Nashville, Melissa is combining the best of both worlds. She is an engaging performer, especially with her extremely talented band behind her, and loves writing and singing the stories of people from her down-home state of Missouri.
