My new favorite word is Unhalfbricking!

About Me

Born and lived most of my life in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My dad's a white Canadian and my Mom (RIP) was from Lesotho, Africa. I'm a mixed race guy - mocha, oreo, whatever you call it. I'm a pretty easy going guy and I get along with almost everyone I meet. My tastes in pop culture are pretty diverse as you can see. I graduated from Carleton University in 1998 with a bachelor's in film studies. It is the most expensive piece of paper I own. I would have listed that in the "My schools" section, but they don't seem to have a section for Carleton. I love a game of steal a word. If anyone local or will be in town wants to play and has the scrabble tiles, let's make it happen. I'm always up for a game. If you're someone who's trying to lure me to a webcam or poker site to get me to spend money under the guise of being friends, don't bother. I've had enough of that.

My Interests

Living, breathing, Movies(watching and discussing), Music, Reading, Watching NFL games/Fantasy football, Walking(going for walks that is - not the mandatory walking of everyday life), Game Shows, playing Steal a word, scrabble, monopoly, hearts - other board and card games.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who'd like to meet me.
Your 1996 Theme Song Is: Ironic by Alanis Morisette
It's like rain on your wedding day
It's a free ride when you've already paid
It's the good advice that you just didn't take
Who would've thought ... it figures What's Your 1996 Theme Song?

Hanna-Barbera tribute

I don't know if this was a backhanded tribute or outright mockery. Either way, it's pretty funny. Let me know if you remember this from the 80s. R.I.P. Hanna and Barbera. http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

You've never laughed so hard at illness

You may feel guilty laughing at these folks, but remember, they're actors. Why didn't the chest pain guy catch on like the old lady did? He's just as funny if you ask me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Jury duty:One year later

Today is one year since the last day of the trial in which I was a juror. I bet you didn't know that about me. Of course you didn't. I don't advertise it. I did right after the trial but not since. &n...

The quiet one.

Today is the 5th anniversary of the death of George Harrison, the Beatle who in my opinion, made the best solo music of any of them. It's hard to believe it's been 5 years since he died. I always love...

Ever spilled boiling water on yourself?

I did a few months back on my left hand and wrist. It hurt like a bitch and it didn't stop hurting for hours. I went to a doctor and he said I had a first degree burn and told me to put polysporin on ...

Best. Show. Ever.

Okay, maybe not the absolute best, but one of the best shows I ever saw was on Monday night. Two fantastic bands. Rocco DeLuca and the Burden opened. If you think they sound great on cd, you have to s...
