Peace. I Should Start By Saying That I Have Always Had A Thing For Good Music. I Can Remember Being Too Little To Be Messing With My Uncles Records. Sneaking Into His Collection When He Would Be At Work And Listening To ZZ Top, Jeff Beck, Clapton, The Isley Bros., Sly Stone, P Funk, And Way Too Many More To List. I Have Never Been One To Say I Don't Like This Style Or That Style. Good Music Is Just That, Good Music. Having Said That, It All Started In 1983 When My Uncle(Boss Carl) Took Me To A DJ Gig With Him. At One Point He Let Me Play The Next Record. I Remember The Crowd Getting Excited When The Record Came On. That Was The Beginning Of My Desire To Be A DJ. During The Summer Of 84, Leading Into My Freshman Year, I Met Chris Underwood(Rashid). He Was My Age, Running His Own Buisness As A Well Respected DJ. Seeing Him Do His Thing Led Me To Believe That I Could Also Do This Music Thang. Once School Got Underway, I Met Charles Palmer(Soul Vamp). His Dad Was A DJ, Had Given Him A Turntable And A Radio Shack Mixer, And The Basic Understanding Of Being A DJ. That Was The Beginning Of P&P Productions. For The Remainder Of My High School Years, We Rocked Plenty A Party And Shut Down A Few DJ Sets Along The Way. After Graduation I Moved Back To Chicago And Began To Dabble In Production. I Am Still Making Music And Shopping Beats. My Partner Is Still Active In Club And Special Event DJ'ing. Holding It Down As One Of The Mid Souths Finest. I Spin Disco And House(Sometimes Hip Hop), But Make all Kinds of Music. I've Made A few Beats For Signed Artists. Nothing Been Released Yet, Still Grindin'. Whether I Get Released Or Not, I Will Still Bang Out Beats Cause That's How I Unwind. I Still Got 1200's, But I've Been Working With A Denon DN-HS5500 Lately. Bless The Inventor Of Flash Drives! My End Goal Is To Be A Royalty Recieving Producer Making The Kind Of Music I Choose. Until Then, It's Make The Beat, Make The Remix And Do It All Over Again. So In Conclusion, I'm A Grown Ass Man Doing Grown Man Stuff. Got A Wife And Two Kids That Help Me When The Road Gets Tuff.
