About Me

Music is the love of Teijai's life. At the early age of 8, she learned to play the flute, which led to the saxophone and piano. Because of her love of music and desire to learn she attended Trebas, a Recording Arts School in Hollywood, CA, where she studied sound engineering. After graduating, she worked as an engineer in various studios in the Los Angeles area with artists and producers such as DJ Quik, Jamie Foxx, Oji Pierce, and Roger Troutman. While continuing to develop her talent, she also worked in production on music videos with Hype Williams; Dr. Dre, Tupac, R. Kelly, SWV, to name a few. After teaching herself to play the guitar in 1999 things began to evolve. It came so natural for her that the first time she performed live; she overwhelmed the audience with her signature voice and unique tones. Her style is unforgettable and she has an energy you can feel. The emotion she brings is honest and real. After years of hard work and dedication she's ready to share her experiences through her music with the world.
