johnny survivor

44 year old social worker in New York -- Currently working with homeless HIV+ clients and their housing. Hoping to make a career change since I think after 20 years Social Work has me burnt. Would love to be a personal assistant to someone who needs a loyal and organized individual....IM 6'2 and a hairy Italian...(love the "bears") Enjoy hanging with friends and socializing out and about. Value good friendships. Very open and honest person... a bit too honest. Recently moved to the East Village with Tony ( the BF)...the place is still in renovations but a housewarming party will follow in the fall ( yeah its been postponed) ! ;-) Love to wind down during the week with some reality TV. MY passion has been "Survivor" since way back and I was hooked while living in California (that sucked)... the "addiction" led to the nickname "Johnny Survivor" and it stuck... I collect Survivor memorabilla as well which can get pretty expensive.. there are a bunch of Hardcore fans out there !! The nickname led me to a TV appearance this past Thanksgiving and I had a great time with it... Enjoy movies and theatre (on Broadway and off)...Have a great DVD collection and love a lot of older films and television series. Im a great listener and I think a good friend. I love supporting my friends in thier careers and love when they become successful. If my friends don't call me "Johnny Survivor" they call me "J'Nanny" due to that thick accent much like my Fran Drescher... love that gal ;-) Enjoy laughter and I try very hard not too take life so seriously... too much sickness and stress in this world. I can be a bit neurotic but in some ways that helps me to remain grounded. Love meeting new people on the Internet and have met some friendly and interesting people around the US as well as in other countries. Love to travel and enjoyed going to Italy in 2005. Hope to go again soon. Enjoy trying new things and am open to a lot...with some exceptions! ;-) ;-) Have a great loud Italian family which continues to grow as I become a Great Uncle. I may be 43 but ACT and LOOK much younger. ;-) I fear getting older and what comes next :( so I guess you must live as wild and crazy as you can..... I TRY !!!
