About Me

Before playing the video, be sure you pause the player above!

Formed in the spring of 2005, Near Gravity is turning heads all over the Charlotte area. With energetic live shows and a genuine connection to the crowd, the band is beginning to draw some serious attention. They have assembled a body of music that knows little about boundaries or stereotypes. The music branches out in new directions; exploring new territory while still retaining the traditional flavor that is signature of the band's sound. Their ability to transition from the delicate, traditional sounds of Mammal to the explosive Thick Black Lacquer Shell, has enabled the band to appeal to an enormously diverse fan base. Taking command of the stage, Near Gravity ignites the crowd with their music and delivers a unique experience.
