I LOVE SMURFS!!!
What I'm About
Family,Art, (Picasso and Gustav Klimt, are faves,) Music, Books, Movies, Gardening, Chrocheting. The Ocean @ sunset. The Blueridge Mountains @ sunrise. Spending quality time with my babies, ie~ taking them to the playground, and art museum, reading to them, and just acting silly. Loving & Being Loved.
My #1 priority in life is to give my kids the best life possible, while teaching them to value life, and think for themselves.
Tell the Senate to Cut Oil Subsidies
Friends of the Earth worked with the leadership of the House of Representatives to craft a bill that turns giveaways to the oil industry into billions for research into alternative energy sources.
Global Warming is Real!!
I'd like to meet:
Dane Cook--funniest guy aroud. He really seems to relate to my generation! Doesn't hurt that he's the hottest comic wearing jeans.
Al Pacino--He's my boyfriend and doesn't know it. Totally in love with Michael Corleone.
Jack Kerouac~Wistfully in love with his ideal of the beat life, and livin' life, "On the Road." Superb Poet.
.
Tom Wolf~Amazing Author. Always dapper in the White Suit. Best known for: " The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test," "The Right Stuff," "From Bauhouse to Our House," "The Bonfire of the Vanities," and my personal favorite, "I am Charlotte Simmons."
Eric Clapton--White Blues Man.
Gutstav Klimt~Painted "The Kiss," one of my very favorite pieces. Very Art Nouveau-couldn't get enough of the color gold.
Frida Kahlo ~ Triumphed over personal tragedy & constant debilitating pain to become one of Mexico's most beloved painters. Only chick I know of that rocked a uni-brow on purpose. Married to Diego Rivera, another great Mexican painter, famously known for his frescoe murals.
Amadeo Modigliani~Most people think of him as a madman or as a drunk, or recall his death and then suicide of pregnant lover, Jeanne Hébuterne before they remember the great works he left behind...He was truly able to express the grace of woman. Probably one of the finest nude painters of the 20th century. Modi.
Abbie Hoffman Encouraged everyone to "Steal His Book". You might remember him from "Forrest Gump," as the man leading the anti-war rally in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Loved to use the f word. Took a guitar beat down from Pete Townshend at WoodStock. Literally. Very Dimensional Fellow.
Bobby Kennedy I truly believe this ONE MAN, could have, would have, should have, changed the world.
Ken Kesey Merry Prankster Extroidinaire, best known for writing, "One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest." A great author, whom the government guinea-pigged the effects of psychoative drugs on. Threw grate parties, played by house band Warlocks (later known as The Grateful Dead,) which inspired both Tom Wolfe and Hunter S. Thompson to write about.
Dr. Hunter S. Thompson You probably recognize this guy if you've seen Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas. Did lots of writing and research for Rolling Stone, and was best known for Gonzo Journalism. His books are really a trip--they make me dizzy.
Maya Angelou My very favorite poet. She doesn't need flash and big words to tell it how it is.
george bush ~I need to ask him if he realizes that he fell off the stupid tree and hit every effin branch on the way down. Then I want to slap the hell out of him for every life lost in vain.
ROBERT NESTA MARLEY!!!!!!!!
