The most anticipated film/documentary of the year "THE FOUNDERS" a short film about the emergance of Hip-Hop & House dance culture during the late 80's. The short film premiered at this years URBAN WORLD FILM FESTIVAL where it recieved outstanding reviews. We are currently working to extend this magnificent short into a hour long feature, to give it its just do. So for now check out the "THE FOUNDERS TRAILER" below (please give it a minute to load) and we promise to post our next screening if you were not able to attend the first sold out screening at AMC THEATERS ON 34ST last June. You know how we do.THE FOUNDERS is my first written and directed short doc/film. The subject matter deals with the emergence of Hip Hop and House Dance culture in N.Y.C.
Not everyone knows, but I started my career in Hip-Hop as a street dancer in the late 80's, later to become a Video dancer/choreographer in some classic music vids. So it only made sense that my first directed piece be about Hip-Hop and House Dance culture www.urbanworld.com
