About Me

Hello!

Let me tell you a bit o' history. PlayDead Productions was established in 2006, by Nicole Spess and Peter Thomas, with the dream of throwing eclectic-based shows for everyone to enjoy. With careful planning and preparation to plan the best first show, it, indeed, ended up as a success altogether, with a few tiny bumps.
Soon, by the summer, Peter Thomas decided selfishly to leave the tri-cities and the friendship, leaving Nicole running the production alone. By August 2006, Nicole moved to Grand Rapids MI to "spread her wings", and also to spread the PlayDead Production disease to the west side of the state.
Now, with the help of Dirty Dave, Bryan Hampton of Ripped Heart Productions, Amberlance, Liza Jade, among a million other PlayDead Zombies, boatloads of shows are being planned for the 2007 year, with bands you may or may not have ever heard of before!

Joining forces

We have recently joined forces with Brimstone Productions to make one monster of a production collaboration for shows in the Grand Rapids area :)

We'd like to meet bands from all over the Michigan area, as well as touring bands! We don't care what genre, we'd like to meet you!

Of course, we'd also like to meet our prospective spectators and such as well :)

Note: We can't guarantee in booking you for a show if you are coming to Michigan for a certain date, but we are more than happy to help you find a date with one of our production friends!
We apologize if it deems inconvenient, but hey. Shows do not run cheap and we can't throw them continuously enough because of that! :)
