We Drink Alot..
The Beat-Ups were origanally started in Flappy's bedroom by Dirty Dave, Cameron Smith and Chris Flapp himself. We had several drunken practices while constanly on the warpath to find a drummer that would fit the nitch. After about 5 weeks Dirty Dave (freshly realesed from the county jail) ran into Chris Makin, an old friend, bandmate and all around badass drummer at a party. Practices then moved into Makins' basement Thus was the first lineup for the Beat-Ups. After tons of great shows, great times the recording of our first album "Destroying the Peace" and alot of Beer Cameron decided to leave the band to spend more time with his wife and newborn baby so now the search was on for a new bass player. Along comes another old time friend Cody Colon. Cody is not fetured on the CD and also turned out to be a fucking douche bag... we have now found Tommy Gun from the Hubies and the Necrophilicons who is now our new bass player adding a much fuller sound to the line-up. Sadly July of 07, Makin and Flap both decided to part ways with the band to concentrate on their other projects.. Ten Second March, and the Bootleggers. So now we have Necrophilicons drummer Sean (Montel) rounding out the rythem section.
