Sime says..."After a coupla years going far and wide with the solo thing, I was ready to make some songs for a band. With the potential for immanent change on the breeze, I set out to write some hopeful music that might be playin’ in the background while that change takes place. We had a great time makin’ this record and it plays well in the car, …so we're hopin’ a bunch of folks are gonna take it away on holiday with em. We're lookin’ forward to getting out on the road ourselves through the Spring and Summer with “Happy Hour†and we hope the listeners enjoy it."
Sime Nugent is both a respected troubadour and experienced band leader. He has traveled extensively with his music in Australia, Europe and America. Sime Nugent describes “Happy Hour†as his "difficult eleventh album". Clearly he and his band of heavy hitters are having a lot of fun.
