About Me

Friends call me (bamba)mouse - the reason is more than obvious: I deliver a whole 5 feet in height.

My dear Mum brought me up to Soul music since she was playing Lionel Richies tapes and LPs almost everyday when I was just seven years old. Around the same time I found a photograph in my mothers cupboard showing five groovy men in front. Who that was? Kool & The Gang who my mom met in the 80ies and later on again (with me) in 2005.

From the first name-writings in kindergarden over to high school-poetry and studies at the university I finally decided to make writing, analysing and playing with words my profession.

As a journalist you re not often given the chance to cover your favourite subjects - financial corrupties and school closings are the daily business features for people like us. But why not break out of this routine and write just about what you love and know best about?!

That is how I got editor of the .. magazine SOULSITE in the year 2003 - and still loving my job.

Well, please subscribe to my blog to read the latest news on my life, soul and anything else taking place on this beautiful mother earth. Feel free to comment on all of it.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

.... musicians and singers of all ages and state of experience who have dedicated their live to pure Soul, Jazz and R&B music.

Let me know about your new project (cds, concerts etc.) and carrierplans so I can promote your musical work and gift via SOULSITE.

For any business requiries please contact me at my official email adress that is lk(at)soulsite(dot)de
