Mike Keyz Downing was born and raised in Offenbach a/M,
Germany.
He had his first contact with RnB and HipHop music through his family living in
the United States, NYC. So it was a tape from his sister, were he heard the
first time of A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul, his first inspiration to do
his own music.
When he was 15 years old, he began to create his musical style and started
learning a lot about the music production in the Piemont Studios in Heidelberg,
Germany.
Now, ten years later, Mike K. Downing is one of germanys greatest producers, who
already worked with musicians like Dj Tomekk, In-Essence, Lumidee, Truth Hurts,
Mc Lyte, Siamak and many many more artists from germany and worldwide.
He had his first chart entry in the year 2005 with the Dj Tomekk Album were he
produced the Track no. 6 with the title Partyverlauf. The Album climbed on the
top 39 of the german media control charts.
In the year 2006 he build up his own business with Leib & Seele Musikproduktion
which is his own music production company, producing for well known artists, but
also for new young talents to help them in the music industry.
At the moment Mike K. Downing is working on his solo album with the title
Körpersprache which will be released in 2007.
