He tests the boundaries of tradition and repetition with his unique styling that transcends age barriers as he captivates multi-generational audiences and catapults his unique vocal and lyrical talents from time into eternity.
Musical Achievements:
--Performed the title track for Erykah Badu's album, (Rags to Riches "Early Recordings")--Background vocals for Rap Artist SPM South Park Mexican, Big Hawk, and Tommy Girl. --Sang in the Gospel group Charles Tyrone Children of Faith . --Opened for artist: Yolanda Adams, Vickie Winans, and Beau Williams, and took the lead in planning and organizing local concerts.
His skills as a lyrical poet astounded not only audiences, but members of his musical peer group. Donald soon became a lyricist and guest soloist for many groups in Houston's music arena. His accolades also include being a nationally renowned orator with recognition from both Arizona State and Harvard University .
Still pushing himself with the determination that has been the driving force behind his endeavors, Donald is in the process of starting a production company, as well as co-writing and co-producing a musical. When asked what the future holds for him, he states with direct confidence, "Its not what the future holds for me that matters, it's what I choose to do with my life, no matter what comes my way, that will define me."
