bring church back to church

About Me

Minister Andrew "Jernard" Walter, Jr. originally organized TYTE About Christ (Talented Youth Telling Everyone About Christ) in November of 2001. After consulting the Lord, Jernard was convicted to no longer use his ensemble to sing, but to minister. At that appointed time God also revealed the new name for the new ministry, TYTE (Tried Young and Talented Evangelist)! Since May of 2005 TYTE has been catapulted into a season of greater ministry and will continue its part in edifying the body of Christ in years to come. TYTE, is a nonprofit ensemble dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and saving lost souls through the ministry of singing and giving. TYTE is a young musical group inspired by God to enlighten the world about Christ. It's bases it's ministry on Romans 1:16. The ensemble's sole goal is soul salvation. With the Lord's help TYTE will fulfill its assigned mission by; liberating captive hearts and minds, healing sick bodies, making people with issues whole, and giving scholarships as well as necessities to needy families. Recently TYTE along with Cliffdale Baptist Church hosted the Resurrection Check Point with guest preachers Tye Tribbett and Pastor Paul D. Landrew of St. Stephens Baptist Church in Houston, TX. Check Point was a service designed to minister to hurt, confused, and lost young people in the city of Houston, compelling them to get to a point where they could check their lives and repair issues with the help of the Lord. The occasion was an overwhelming success with more than twelve hundred youth, and young adults in attendance. Countless young people had life changing experiences at the altar that night. And it is with great anticipation TYTE awaits their next opportunity to minister to the lost. Pray for TYTE as they strive to reach their evangelistic goal for 2006 of 120 lost souls!
