About Me

Soon to a student at Ulster University. You know, without all the fun, being stuck in Dundee...working full time and completing it all so very far away from all the folics that Uni should provide. And I thought second time around I was supposed to do it better than that pitiful attempt at Abertech!

My Interests

I write when I need to or at least when I have something I need to say. I want to write just now, but I've got nothing I need to say so going a little stir crazy at the moment.

Writer of some of it, editor and general "we should do an anthology" person:

I'd like to meet:

New people. Well not technically new people, newborns can't hold conversations. People who are new to me.

Music:

I'm fairly varied in musical tastes, although I tend to stay away from anything too dancey or pop orientated. Big love for "classic" rock and prog rock but also tonnes of guilty pleasures (as do most people). Love Tool, Bad Religion and a few other bands that I have grown up listening to over the years (and see live when I can).

Movies:

Love movies, just don't go to the cinema much these days (be it lack of time or just my general apathy to the whole experience these days after some recent awful movie going experiences). Generally will give everything a go, unless it's another brainless romcom or shit looking comedy.
And now for a list of movies I can think of off the top of my head that I've either loved or at least enjoyed enough to put them on here:
Alien
Aliens
Ailen 3
Alien: Resurrection

This year really looking forward to FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer and of course Grindhouse although now it's getting split I'm a little pissed off about the whole thing.

Television:

Books:

Currently reading the DS9 relaunch books and for bus journeys/breaks at work I'm reading Flann O'Brien's The Third Policeman...along with a few others I'm chipping away at every so often. And eventually I'll get back to the New Frontier books, but DS9 first.

Heroes:

Clerks with names like Handle
