My love of music has been the drive of my life...Through my love of mixing I discovered Drum & Bass, but my influences were definitely otherwise...I grew up listening, mainly, to my Mothers influences. She was a Soul and Reggae DJ around the B'ham circuit, and would always be playing to me at a young age. My tastes reflected strongly towards Reggae, which was also influenced by my Dad, who was a mentor for some very successful artists including UB40 and Robert Palmer. Between the two of them I covered a wide genre of music including soul, blues, reggae, rock & roll, and even my very fist taste of hip hop...At the age of 13 I got my first set of turntables and began mixing with a friend, who was already a key figure in the old skool hip hop scene. I managed to get a few gigs in the city and began to develop my own style mixing with a range of hip-hop, breaks and reggae. Â Â
