About Me

I got into the scene originally about 1991 as a 16 yr old who knew nothing about what I was getting into, but we had a new club in Evesham Called Rumours which started getting some of the biggest names in the old school scene like Carl Cox, Stu Allen, Daz Willet and Jack Frost among others however a few years l8er when jungle surfaced thats where my roots lay, I started djin somewhere round 1996 and ended up shoppin round 4 vinyl at places like Fibre Optic, Massive in Oxford and random other places but was mostly just dj'in in my bedroom and occasionally at parties round the midlands mostly got thru long time friend DJ Patience, around 1998 I started 2 get disillusioned by everything that was happening and decided enough was enough for my until 2 years l8er a friend asked me if id dj at his b'day party to which I said yes 2 which got my love 4 the music back and again I started to get back into the whole scene again and again started to buy vinyl this time from lots of other shops and was gettin a few playouts round different events in the mids again like residenting at Sub Urban in Cheltenham, it wasnt till 2004 that things started to really pick up due 2 deciding to start our own nite up in Evesham called Nasty Ways which has gone from strength to strength as we are heading towards the 2nd birthday in August 2006, we have had some big names come to play like Friction, Nicky Blackmarket, Kenny Ken, SS, Sub Focus plus many others and knowing the lineups we have lined up for the rest of the year some big things are heading for Evesham, also with Co- Promoting Nasty Ways its also helped me get a lot more bookings around the midlands and other places with quite a few more places in the pipeline already being lined up, so far this year I have played at events like, System Overload, Frequency, Konnections as well as residenting @ Nasty Ways but so far 2006 is looking to be a good year for us and we've started back in the studio again as well to hopefully get some tunes done as well soon which will put the name out a bit more of Nasty Ways. after what was a huge year for Nasty Ways in 2006, 2007 has been a slow start for us due to our venue being refurbed into what was Mojo into the superb new venue known as Karma with heavy lineups confirmed already like the opening night with Bryan Gee & Bassman with other huge lineups already sorted for most of the year, as far as dj'in goes this seems to be getting busier and busier with regular plays for Raveology such playin at Bassmans New Years Eve Bash plus the up coming Award Winners Night on the 27th April and also Bassmans B'day bash on the 14th July 2007 @ Air again, plus also playin at nights booked so far Nerka's Tribute night on March 29th and at Rebirth alongside TC & IC3 plus many other bookings coming up plus studio time as Patience is already in the studio again doing stuff on his own plus a track with Callide and im also in the pipeline to get in and do my own stuff as well so keep your eyes peeled.2007 saw the end of Nasty Ways for the time being due to the retirement of Patience however I started a new night based on Liquid Drum & Bass called Fluid which is a monthly night that started in July of 2007 and has already had down Utah Jazz, High Contrast, Influx Uk and has future lineups including Mace, Logistics Alix Perez among many others, also planned this year as a Xmas special is a due night with Muzik Hertz with special guests planned which will be announced in due course.
