Dj Brec1 has been dj-ing Drum'n'Bass for 13 years since school days in London with friends Miss Dynamite and Mc Sparkie coming down to MC at parties. He worked at Fabric superclub in London before settling back in Worcester. Brec1 is a monthly resident at 'Vibe' night at club 'Breeez' in Worcester, 'Elements' in Droitwich and 'Links' in Evesham. In the last few months he has DJed for MC's Shabba, Det, Krafty, Bassman, Trigga, $pyda, Foxy, Presha and Juiceman amongst others, often playing up to ten of his own productions in a set, playing alongside almost every top DJ in the scene right now. Brec has been producing d'n'b now for 5 years, with tunes such as 'Marching Powder,' 'Fire Drill', and his Prodigy remix of 'No Good' being played by DJs; Swannee, Kut D, Dangerous D, Garry K and Dj Destroy amongst others. Talks are being held with 'Maximum Boost' label boss Swanne to sign 'Marching Powder' and 'No Good' remix as a first release, although there are offers from other labels for 'Marching Powder' as it is reaching near anthemic status around the Midlands right now. There is a also a vicious rumour circling forums that Brec1 has remixed Ram classic 'Turbulence' causing great scrutiny and debate. Brec1 neither confirms or denies this, but Dj Brockie has opened sets with this remix and plays it every set at all the top raves and clubs, cutting his own copy onto dubplate. Brec1 is playing at 'Dirty Bass' night in Digbeth on June 7th alongside Goldie, Andy C Clipz, Swift, Nicky Blackmarket etc, and all the top MC's on the Valve Sound System which is BIG!
