About Me

Monte Moir is a songwriter, singer, producer and one of the original members of the innovative R&B group The Time.

As a songwriter and producer, he has had a number of hits including Janet Jackson's, "The Pleasure Principle" (from her Grammy nominated Control CD) and Alexander ONeal's, "If You Were Here Tonight".
He has also produced and written songs for Glady's Knight, Junior, Deniece Williams, Deja, Cheryl Lynn, Patti Austin, Thelma Houston, Lolly Pop & others.

Monte has appeared in two movies, Prince's Graffitti Bridge and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.
