Take the Which Care Bear Are You? Quiz! Born and raised in Minnesota, Bianca has seen two sides of life, good and bad. Though raised in various areas of Minnesota, northeast minneapolis, Brooklyn Park, Robbinsdale and New Hope, her mother sent her to Southside of Chicago since the age of 5. Through her travels back and forth she noticed the struggles of life and the privilege she had to escape it. While traveling back and forth she also realized the struggles of Black people and wanted to caputure it for the world to see. Through all her schooling, Bianca became interested in television production. At the age of 14 she was involved with the Emmy award wining show "Don't Believe the Hype" on KTCA television in St. Paul. From creating slide shows of her childhood to traveling to South Africa Bianca wanted to capture the daily lives of people, the struggle and the success. Along with video production Bianca has a passion for music. Born of Jellybean Johnson, an icon in his own right from the Prince's funkyside, The Time, music is in her blood and couldn't fight it if she wanted to. Bianca has been singing since the age of 8 and dancing for as long as she can remember. She entered every talent show throughout her schooling career even in college. Along with singing and dancing, she took up viola at the age of 8. She played viola for 13 years. "I wouldn't mind taken it back up, she said, "a good viola cost about 5,000 dollars, starting." She loves orchestra music, r&b, hip-hop, jazz, and all funk and old school rap. "When you have parents that love music and played it around you even before you were born, you simply can't help not to love it." Bianca went on to receive her Bachelor degree in Mass Communication in Television Production with a minor in Human Relations. While in college she became an activist and school leader at a predominately white university. She received many awards for her accomplishments to attempt to bring unity on the campus. She was never afraid to speak up even if it almost cost her well-being. Four years ago Bianca was diagnosed with Epilepsy which completely changed her life. Her whole life was devote to people, which became a burden for her. "I never really thought about myself, nor did I really take care of myself." Bianca almost didn't finish college, but her determined mother kept her motivated. "You are a Rhodes, we always keep going, no matter what." Bianca went on to finish her schooling and went to persue her dream to become a video producer. She currently works at Cision US, Inc as a production technician (Editor). She also recently started her own production company Lovely Inc that consists of all Black women in executive positions. "It is a dream come true, and we are ready to change the standard of television production." She also teaches at the Saint Paul Neighborhood Network. She believes that we are able to changes the images we see in the media. "Once we learn how the media works and how television is created, we can change the negativity into something real." She has worked with youth and continues to prepare them for the future. "Our leaders of today are scared of the leader for tomorrow, there's no need for that, its the children who will save us all."

Which Egyptian God or Goddess do you represent? (Pictures!)

Ma'at, Goddess of Order, Harmony, and Truth
Ma'at was the goddess of physical and moral law in Egypt, of order and truth. She was not much of a goddess, but more of a concept. She was what was right; she was the way things should be. You lead a very well-ordered life. You are just and keep things in balance. You know just how to react to things, and people like you for that.
