First off, please ask me about pricing these one of a kind jobs. It's probably not nearly as crazy expensive as you imagine. Certainly comparable to what some of the big companies have machines do instead of people.
Also, I can do any kind of shape for a guitar body [well as long as it is agreeable and somewhat tasteful but ASK you may be surprised].
The guitars don't HAVE to be Strat or Tele bodies. I just have done more of them then others so far due to what people have asked for so far.
About me?
I am a very private, Guitar-ver. I carve and play one of a kind guitars. I've been carving off and on for nearly a quarter of a century now and am in crazy love with what I do. It's really all anybody needs to know about me. Oh, and I've also been playing for pretty much all of my life. Tell you what, ask me and I'll tell you if it makes sense to talk about it :-)
That being said, if you want to know about my work just ask me here with a message. You can also ask me how to acquire a guitar by contacting me through my website or via my email address which is as follows:

Thanks for Dropping in! Take your shoes off and hang out in the gallery and let me know what you think when you're done. I'd really appreciate the input.

Here's an elder Video of me playing the Bone-A-Billy just after carving it. It's not my favourite video but I've had a friend request that I put it up until I can find a better one.

This is Leo Nike's "Riddle of Steelocaster"
Leo had some criteria. He works with metal and steel and as a kid, wanted to be a blacksmith. His name is Nike so we needed the Goddess of Victory in there someplace. He also likes Frank Frazetta so we needed a battle with a muscle dude and some skulls [of course]. He also liked big boobies and so the girl with the skulls in her hair has big knee warmers. At the bottom we have the father and son chat by the Forge discussing the Riddle of Steel [as in Conan but that discussion took place away from the forge in the movie.. but the idea is the same].Enough Blathering! Here's the axe!
If you want to contact me directly my email is

I look forward to hearing from folks and perhaps building some guitars for folks.
Cheers,
Bob Ironside
Here's a Link to a fellow who is building the best acoustic guitars I've ever played [not kidding and I've played a lot of hand made acoustics].
