THE ANYTHING PEOPLE are a New York garage combo consisting of MICHAEL LYNCH , DOUG MAYER , MARK KHAN , and JAY BANERJEE . Despite not being alive at the time, The Anything People try to maintain a circa 1966 vibe about them in their music, drawing heavily on influence from the great bands of the era. They play mostly originals, but do tackle a few 1960s nuggets in their live act.

Check out this video of us doing a classic by a certain band as a certain other band might have done it, since they were actually supposed to do it a few years before that first band did it but didn't end up doing it. Confused? Yeah, just check out the video. Courtesy of Jeff C. of our pals the Miscreants.
And also check out this clip of us doing another classic that was written in the style of that first certain band as they would write songs around the time they wrote that song in the above clip. Confused again? Well, just check out the video again. Courtesy of D.J. Shimmy & Hullabaloo.
