I Like Autumn Things. - Ray Davies :-P

About Me

Random Facts 'n Stuff About Me:
* I don't live in a time-warp, I just happen to really enjoy things that are classic and classy. However, if I could go back in time, I would have been a rock photographer/writer. What better way to meet the people I admire in the prime of their youth...well, not that they're half bad now, but at least most of them would still be alive.
And as most people can probably tell from my profile in general, and people who know me know, I am...
...addicted to music
...quirky
...tall
...ferociously independent
...a bit of a loner
...a bit random at times
I also love the following things...
...good movies with wonderful characters, colors and dialog
...bad old-time B-movies (so bad they're downright funny)
...quirky finds at thrift shops
...scarves
...animals (especially cats and lab puppies)
...autumn
...black eyeliner
...black and white photos
...writing when the mood hits, not when forced.
After all...this is just myspace...so basics will do here. Those who know more about me should, and those who don't...shouldn't. Besides, that's what blogging is for, no?

Visit Sugarbuzz Magazine for some of my ramblings on various arists of then and now and lots more...

My Interests

Music...is there anything else?

I'd like to meet:

People who share at least some of the same interests, or at least similar interests. Got to have that common thread of something. I love discussing music and film with people who are passionate about them. Intelligent conversation with interesting people is always stimulating, but please, no intellectual snobs!

Videos....

Best 'o Jermaine

"...let's go have an ice cream...."

Nico

The best promo video ever made. :-D (Andrea made me Ray's scarf. Yay!)

"Foo-sucka!"

Books:

I read mainly bios and autobios, and (like Ray Davies' book...) unauthorised autobiographies. ;-) I like true stories and historical bits about eras that interest me. Photography books of kitsch-y things with pieces of comedy thrown in are always welcome too.
I'm not a huge fan of fiction, but all-time favorite fiction novel is "Little Women"...the original version, not the kids 10 page storybook.
