I am interested in everyone having the good life which includes myself. This is why I am a left wing progressive. In 2008, I am supporting Congressman Dennis Kucinich (Democrat, Ohio) for President. He's got a bascially good program of fair trade practices, labor law reforms which would be friendly to trade unions, universal healthcare, abolishing the death penalty, absolishing the USA Patriot Act, and opposing war. To find out more, just log onto Dennis Kucinich for President in 2008 .
WYNONA RYDER : I love this actress. She's "the Audrey Hepburn of our age..." Wynona Ryder displayed her talents to the world of cinema in the last 20 plus years. Many people gave her a bad wrap for her fiasco five years ago, and that's their problem. Most of her films show her true talent to form. I confess; I do have a thing for her...

ARCH BISHOP DESMOND TUTU is the "Martin Luther King of South Africa." He stood firmly along side with Nelson Mandela and others from the African National Congress against racial oppression which was called Apartheid. Although I am a Unitarian Universalist for the last 9 years (as well as a secular humanist), the impact for social justice exemplified by this man impressed me a great deal. This Anglican Church Arch Bishop helped unite Blacks,Whites, Christians (Protestants & Catholics alike), Jews, Muslims, Athiests, and others together against white only rule. As a result, South Africa is now a multi racial democracy with a bright future.
