He is also a honkey tonk virtuoso. The lyrics in Rardin's songs focus on important topics, such as troubles on the farm, drinking, plowing, drinking while plowing, and the use of illegal pesticides. Rardin Din Dardin formed his band in early 2004 with his wife, Rardette Din Dardin. In 2004, Rardin released his debut album, My Old Chippewa Valley, through Rardin Records.
