My Dad- for teaching me the meaning of patience. Lord knows he had to have a lot of that for me when I was growing up. What can I say? I am a daddy's girl til the end. Important things he has taught me are: respect your elders, be patient with those who don't catch on quickly, never give up, learn how to change your flat tire and the oil in your car, never take shit from men who are mean to you..most important is... never, ever give up on the goals you pursue.. My Mom- this woman has been the backbone of my life. Everything I was involved in- she was there supporting me 110%. She is awesome and even supports my bodybuilding career (that was a tough one for her at first..) My Husband- he is good as gold.- he has taken me to the level of bodybuilding that I am at now- he is my supporter, my #1 fan, and my life partner who puts up with me in my worst of moods (and they get pretty nasty when I am carb depleted). He takes care of me. My Grandma- I thank her for my inheritance of her stubborness and not being afraid to say what is on my mind. She is a strong lady and I absolutely adore her. Finally, my brother- because he is exactly that- he had to put up with my shit for many years growing up and he still thinks I am a pretty cool sister- They have all been a huge influence in my life and have always taught me to go that extra mile to get things done. and that is how i live my life
