Gintramp Webzine is no more.
x R.I.P. 2003 to 2007 x
Due to other commitments, Gintramp webzine is no longer functioning. Time has put a stranglehold on me, and what used to be a fun thing to do has become a great hardship to complete, let alone even start.
So yes, that's sadly it. I've met so many amazing people and found so much amazing music doing this crummy little zine for nearly 5 years (crikey!). I feel humbled at the amount of people that were genuinely interested and excited about the things the zine was doing. I thank absolutely every single person that visited the site ever, all the labels that sent stuff to us, all the people that contributed their amazing interviews, reviews, articles, poetry, art, photography and points of view and obviously, probably most importantly, i take my hat off to all the bands that were involved and were friendly, and especially to the ones that i am friends with today and still stay in touch!
On a sour note, i would like to say a huge fuck you to the straight edge arseholes that kept e-mailling me, saying they were going to beat me up at any gigs i put on and come to my house if i didnt change the 'gintramp' name. If your reading this, thank you so very much for being the reason a i got out of bed so eagerly so many times in early 2006 to see what stupid shite you'd sent that day...
So please STOP SENDING THINGS FOR REVIEW!!! because they simply will not be done, and will just be added to the pile im very sorry to say.
If you have sent me something for review or you know for a fact i was at a gig, please e-mail me at [email protected] and let me know who you are and what you sent and i will send the review. They have all been done, they will just never be published. Please do not get in touch via here, as i will not get it.
