About Me

Horslips, one of the first Celtic rock bands, formed in Ireland in 1970. The band composed, arranged and performed Celtic rock songs and music based on traditional Irish jigs and reels. Horslips were one of Ireland's leading rock groups of their era. The band disbanded in 1980, but the original line-up has recently regrouped and performed a small number of gigs.
